Why Does District Lines Suck So Much?

Man, I love SK6ERS but District Lines really discourages me from wanting to buy any stuff.

I don't remember the standard shipping for the Bear back on release day, but I remember it was enough to make me buy it off Amazon. I usually like buying things directly from the artist as opposed to third party sites, but the shipping from District Lines cost more than next day shipping from Amazon (and thats not to mention that it said it could be 3 weeks before District Lines shipped it.)

My girlfriend, bless her heart, decided to be amazing and buy me the You Win lyrics, but District Lines made sure to screw it all up for her. Being in college, the 100 or so bucks isnt easy to come by, but District Lines made sure to charge her for 4 sets of lyrics for a total of $500. Not having the money, they took 350 dollars worth of loans from her bank account and stuck here with a hefty overdraft fee. Shes in the process of fixing the situation, but DL doesnt have a phone number and its a pain in the ass.

I apologize for this rant, but I was wondering if anyone else had these problems. I only ask because its a shame that this site is screwing over good fans. I would love to buy more SK6ERS merch, but I dont want to deal with the site. It sucks that the Sixers are suffering from a crummy site.

I hear you about District Lines. It took forever for my copy of The Bear to arrive when I preordered it (at least two weeks after the release date).

As bad as District Lines is, just be glad it's not Music Today that you're dealing with. They are just horrible and I've had multiple terror experiences with them and a lot of bands use them. In fact, I don't know of a single band that sells merchandise "outright" to their fans online.

Sorry about the bank situation, that is ridiculous. Hopefully gets fixed.

Ok I don't feel so stupid now. Thankfully the bank situation got figured out. They just sent her a bill for $0 though. Oh well...its cheaper than 500.

Do you know how long it takes for the lyrics to ship? Did she get the order? District Lines is tough to deal with sometimes.

It said they were shipped on the 4th, and still no word...hoping everything will turn out.
