In case some of you didn't get that memo. I got my tickets last night! I've always wanted to check out the Tin Angel, but haven't gotten the opportunity to go there yet. Has anyone been there before?

It's not my favorite venue, at all. Way narrow, like a thin shoebox with the stag up by the toe, or a lollipop you can't lick...

Anyway, I went for the Glassjaw show last year. It's nice 'cause it's small, but it's kind of awkward if you don't get a good spot.

You run into everyone there, too. Like me, saying "That's not Luke Brindley!" out loud was heard by... Luke Brindley. It's that kind of small place.

O.A.R is going to be at this show, right? That's what Stephen said at TLA, but the website just says SK6ers. And there's two shows that night, so if they each play a set, they won't be that long. That bums me out. Haha.

I don't even know O.A.R's music. I guess I should check them out just in case.

I can't see OAR playing this place. If they are, we best buy tickets quickly.

(Don't listen to Kimi, Tin Angel is so cute, it's like Beyonce's bedroom... that is, if Beyonce's bedroom resembled the Tin Angel... that's how I imagine it...) Oh and it's kind of funny, to get to the bathroom you have to pretty much walk on stage. Hmm.

Oh my. Haha. Well, I can't wait to see this place. I was gonna go see Lelia Broussard there a year or two ago, but couldn't make it to the show for some reason. Never really had another opportunity to go there again, so this should be an interesting experience.

Sry lauren but i'm definatly with kim on the whole Tin Angel not being all that great. The only thing that i like about it is that it makes me laugh to see 4 guys crammed onto a 4ftX4ft stage with a bunch of instruments. But its the Sixers none the less and thats good enough in itself to go to so it dosnt matter where it is. I'd pay to see them wherever they're playing. Now i'm just crossing my fingers that the show isnt on a night i have to work. I'm gonna go check on that now. Peace.

Yea, I noticed that the stage looks kinda small in the pictures... This should be interesting. I wonder if they'll just break it all down and do an acoustic set instead. Haha.

Yeah, it is like seeing 20 clowns coming out of a little car. Four grown men on such a small, small stage.

(Next time, PJ, we'll be up front. By hook or by crook. Is that the phrase?)

I guess that means Goose won't be dancing again... Healed ACL or not. Haha. I wish they would go back to World Cafe Live.

i can't decide if i liked the TLA or WCL more. Prolly world cafe. Anyway...after the Tin angel show was over i was hoping that was the last of them playing there. Oh well...yea it'll definatly be acoustic. Boots will have a snare and a symbol. Kit will plug in w/ his bass and kyle will play the hummingbird (acoustic guitar). There simply isnt enough room for them to have everything. Boots set would take up more than half of the stage. haha...its cool though. Kim its on a saturday night! i can go. How do u get tix?

There are two shows. One at 7:00, which is all ages. The other is at 10:00, which is 21+. Boo for being nineteen.

pj, one day someone's going to have to buy tickets in advance, cause they have all kinds of rules and junk about credit cards, and having the same credit card with you at will call that day. so it would be best to get the physical tickets beforehand. does that mean you're going?

forget a cymbal, i think for tin angel boots just claps his hands.

Is there a way to get actual tickets (besides going to the venue)? When I ordered mine, they only gave me the option of have them held at will call. I took it, but I hate will call.

I don't think there's a way. Just make sure you have the credit card you bought them with to show them for whatever reason. I know, I love having tickets to hold onto... I'm not crazy about this way.

PJ since you messed up last time you're the one in charge of getting us tickets to the show. I'll figure out a ride... I always do.
