    Ladies I cannot wait for the Rockboat Niner. Room 9210 is the place to be (although I imagine we probably won't actaully be spending a ton of time in the room itself, right?) hahaha! The countdown is on :)

    Every year I say I might go but I never do. Poop. NEXT YEAR. MAYBE. I'll be 18...
    which leads me to the question: which drinking laws are they going by? Does it like, switch after you get into the bahamas? Cause their drinking age is 18. Hah.

    Several cruise lines (RCI, Carnival, etc.) have gone to the 21 is the magical age policy, not that it is enforced. From Carnival's website, here is the legal-ese explanation.

    Also, I'm pretty sure for The Rock Boat you have to be 21, or staying in the same room as someone who is 25 or older to even get on the boat. So, keep that in mind :)

    Actually, the boat isn't really all ages. I mean, I guess it kinda is. You have to be 21 and up or be in a room with someone who is over the age of 25. But as for the shows on the boat, even if you're under 21, you can go to all of them :)

    well if you don't have a room yet and you're not signed up for the public lottery (which i think is going on now if i'm not mistaken?)...you probably wouldn't be able to get on anyway.
    but if you check the rock boat message boards you might be able to find a room with 2 slots open (but someone in the room has to be over 25 for your brother)

    right now it might be tough, but last year i know spots were opening up all the time up until the day before we set sail

    We are both huge SK6ers fans. My second is Alternate Routes. Then probably Tyrone Wells (pending he accepts going on, but I'm pretty sure he will be!)

    congrats on booking! You think it's bad waiting this long now. Wait until next year when you're already talking about the next one before you're off the boat.

    It's so addicting and the wait seems like FOREVER but it couldn't be more worth it.
