not sure about this Private Practice show though...

not sure about this Private Practice show though...
you know....i thought last season got very tiresome towards the end....
and now, the office is on at the same time and the office will absolutely get precedence over grey's anatomy. soooo....i've barely given grey's any thought. which is weird because i used to be obsessed. oh well...
yeah, i stopped watching grey's halfway through last season. maybe it will get better...i won't know though because i'm all about the office.
i bet kit is excited though
Given that Meredith, Shonda Rimes and I all went to Dartmouth, I kind of have an inherent allegiance, even though I agree that things got a little meh last season. It has to get better, right?
I'll never forget when during Now I'm Not So Lost, Kit said "George, there's a club called the dead dads club." And I cheered really loud, but I think I was the only one who got it.

I hate that it is on Thursday. The only shows that I really watch are The Office, Scrubs, and Grey's...and they're all on at the same time! I end up taping one and watching the other, but it'd be nice if they were on different days.
PS - When exactly does it start? this week?
I think the preimere date is September 27.
I am REALLY excited, but I have to agree, I got a little bored at the end of last season. The whole incorporating Private Practice into the end of last season I was not a fan of. I LOVE Addison, but I will most likely not be watching Private Practice. I'm sure it will be a good season...I want to see how they handle the George situation and should also be interesting to have Merideth's kinda-sister around.
Thank God for TiVo or I don't know what I'd do about Grey's Anatomy/The Office. 2 of my favorite shows on TV!
the office freaking rules.
that is all.
It's CSI on Thursdays too! At least CBS shows are on On Demand the next day.
The premiere is indeed next week. Meredith's sister being a character? Thoughts?
yea. TGFT (thank god for tivo). i pretty much never watch shows live anymore.
i cant wait for Greys and i cannot wait for Feb. and the return of lost
Thoughts on Meredith's sister: ...GAH!!!! This show is just...getting so PRIMETIME SOAP OPERA-Y!! What the HELL, people. It started out great, with creative plotlines, witty dialogue and juicy twists. Now it's just a generic incestuous hospital show. This is why ER should have gone off the air five years ago. Grey's Anatomy has turned into a TV show for the masses, and I can't watch crap like that. I hope Shonda Rhimes is ashamed of herself.
Thankfully The Office still takes a very special breed.
hello, my name is future dwight.
hello, my name is future dwight.
That may be my favorite office moment ever!
I just came back to my dorm room and my roomie left me a present...sticky notes that say I *heart* Jim and it has his picture in the heart! haha! Totally made my day!
I love how the Grey's thread has turned into The Office
"jim" is indeed a good looking guy... who doesn't heart him?
target recently had a ton of Office stuff in the dollar bins. i bought 3 "I<3Jim" mugs and other various goodies. like a dwight head stress ball.
oh Jim Halpert<3
attention: "heart" is not, has never been, and never will be a verb. the icon "<3" can best be pronounced "less-than-three." as an example, here it is used in a sentence - "man, i really less-than-three playing my banjo and singing in a sexy, high falsetto voice."
and now back to your regularly scheduled office threadjack...
^ahahahahaha.
i might have to make a trip to target tomorrow to get some office goodies.
IN MY DEFENSE, i was just quoting the mug
Perhaps we should start an Office thread since this now turned into the Office/Greys thread. I will start one.
I'm more interested in seeing what happens with George more than anything else. Is he going to have to redo his internship? That will probably make for an interesting story. As for thoughts on Lexi...eh. Hopefully throwing in a new group of characters (the new interns) will give the show a little more depth.
Ahaha I love future Dwight.
I can't watch Grey's Anatomy because my attention span isn't good enough to remember to watch two shows at the right time. And Bones is my main priority. So when that is on, I miss everything...and if I can't watch little episodes randomly and get into it....I can't watch it.
So to get back on topic, who thought that the half-dead deer was creepy?
I really appreciated how they started the episode with the new residents just like the show started in season 1. But the writing has definitely gone to literal-and-predictable land.
well, going into the premiere with NO expectations...i was pleasantly surprised! it felt more like a season 1/2 episode. i used to be able to rely on the show making have a hearty laugh and also cry my eyes out in one episode...and this one definitely delivered. that deer plotline was GREAT.
but i have SERIOUS ISSUES with the izzy/george thing...i mean COME ON. her FIANCE just died, because in grey's anatomy land time moves much slower. so it was seriously only a few months ago. and she's already in love with george? and GEORGE JUST GOT MARRIED. and...i think...didn't that happen AFTER denny died? i mean come on here. so ridiculous. GRRRRRRRRRR.
but i'm glad george decided to stay. AND...interesting tidbit from lexi...thatcher drinks a lot???? we didnt' know that, did we?
Nope, I don't think it was ever brought up that Thatcher drinks a lot. Lexi is a great breath of fresh air. I think she's going to add a lot to the show.
I thought the deer thing was kinda dumb.
Eventhough I DID crack up when it sprang to life. I liked the rest of the episode though...
ummm.
meredith and mcdreamy kinda piss me off. make your freakin relationship work and stop breaking up.
and this whole george/izzie thing is just kinda weird. what? george...really? he's like a brother love...not the other kind. and i still dont like callie and dont think i ever will.
