I just thought I would post here to see if anyone can make it to a walk. I'm just helping a friend get as many people there as possible. She has been organizing everything.
Some of you probably know what the walks are about but if you don't here's my description. The walks are something that Hanson started. What they do is before every concert, they invite fans to take a one mile barefoot walk to raise awareness and support causes to fight poverty and HIV/AIDS in Africa. They also give one dollar for every person that records their mile to one of five causes. You don't have to walk barefoot unless you want to.
But you can also host your own walk so that's what we're doing. Hanson will also donate one dollar for every walker at our walk. So if you're in the Madison, Wisconsin area please join us!

Start location: 500 Lincoln Dr University of Wisconsin campus on top of Bascom Hill. It is directly in front of Bascom Hall.
