So in some of the MonkeyCam footage from the Mi Casa Es Su Casa tour, the Sixers and PMB are practicing Take It Easy backstage. Does anyone have a live recording of them playing this?
Or, for that matter, anyone have a copy of Sixers + OAR doing Midnight Rider?
I love, love, LOVE when they do this song. This one is not with PMB (they sang it at one of the shows I went to and it was great, but I don't have the recording of it). They do, however, mention Todd Martin in the middle of it. Enjoy.

Kim I know the video you are talking and I totally love love love it! I especially like the part when i think it's Jon that's suggests to go in a lower key and Pat says something to the effect of "Well I'm still trying to figure out how to play it" love those guys!!!

I loved that they did so many songs together that tour. You don't see that very often. They attempted to sing Cripple Creek altogether at another show I went to. I saw Cousin Jess put a few pages of the lyrics up on stage in HUGE block letters, so I assumed they were going to. The funny part was that, still, a few of them could not grasp the lyrics. Very cute.

Jen- Are you talking about the Minneapolis show? While I was selling merch at that show, I was right next to the stage and watched the entire show, yet recall nothing about it whatsoever except I was really cold when I got there and Pat McGee let me in and I thought he was a bouncer at the club....

Yep Laura! I, for some reason, do not remember that show very well either. I remember it was the first time I met Nicole. And I remember Pat and some other members of the band let Nate and I in (plus like, 2 other people) because it was freezing. I did not know he was Pat McGee until later. At the time, they were doing that Meet n Greet thing so I signed up for it. Sixers were still soundchecking so we sat around talking to PMG in the dark (practically) about really random stuff. Kinda awkward, but they were VERY nice. Pretty soon there was a ton of people inside because they just started letting everyone who was outside before the time the doors were suppossed to open.
I'm hoping for a PMB/SK6ERS reunion during the next tour!! Before I was a Sixer fan I was a PMB fan so I didn't really appreciate the two together until the tour had ended...that kinda sucked haha but still love them all
Dude, I cannot download Midnight Rider. There is no "save target as." Because its in flash? Anyone else having this problem? gah!!
yea, i'm having the same problem. i know there's a way to save it through windows media player or something? but i forget how and can't figure it out!
I'm having issues saving it, too. I figured it was just that I was using a mac. Usually I can do the whole ctrl + apple thing and save it no prob, but not with this...
The flash is a bit of a pain. You can copy the link and then open it and save as in an audio program.

SERIOUSLY??? i had NO IDEA that the sixers ever covered this song. how did this slip through my notice? holy cow, i'm freaking out. i have always wanted the sixers to cover this song! and apparantly i was right in thinking it would sound fantastic.

I just remembered that that was the week of my INTENSE AWKWARD ROOMMATE DRAMA which I try to supress, and I may have accidentally supressed the show as well...I wonder if my brain has an auto-recovery program...haha.
