I was going to go to State College tonight, but I have class till 7:10 tonight so I wouldn't be able to make the 4 hour drive in enough time...so I'm going to Carrboro tomorrow instead!
Is Cat's Cradle a nice venue? I've never been.

So is it definitely just the three of them for the fall tour, or did they get someone to play guitar?

I wanna hear all about this show! I wish I could have been there.

My cousin went.
She said that Goose and Stephen had great chemistry all night, but Boots just kind of "sat there staring at the wall." She said he seemed like he was in his own world. They did movie quotes and he said that he DID do them with "vigor," though and he participated in the activities but he wasn't his usual self, like he was the other times she's seen them.
She also said that Stephen dedicated two or three songs to Sarah Palin and some rap songs turn him on
.
There was a meet and greet after as well

Boots usually seems shy and quiet to me, but I think that's just his personality. And I can just imagine Stephen dedicating songs to Sarah Palin. Haha. That's awesome.

Hi everyone! Short intro: I'm new to the message boards, although i've read them before for updates and such. I've been a fan of the Sixers since '06 (Pat McGee Band tour). Anyway I just wanted to say that the guys played a great show last night at Chronic Town. The venue was probably the smallest i've seen, but the guys filled it with energy. I took my friend, her brother, and her brother's girlfriend to their first Sixers show and they absolutely loved them. One of them had never even heard of them and walked away saying that she couldn't wait to see them in NY, which is always good to hear after introducing them to someone. The guys did in fact dedicate a few songs to Sarah Palin and I believe Boots even screamed "Sarah Palin is HOT" in the middle of a song. All in all I just wanted to say that the guys kicked off the tour with a great show.
Oh and the song that turns him on is Eminem's "Shake That" or is it "Shake that Ass"? I don't know I don't listen to rap. I think my friend got that on video so if I get a link for it i'll post it for you guys.

the show was absolutely amazing, especially after not seeing them for over 5 months...it was my second time seeing them at chronic town...pretty small crowd, but everyone really seemed to enjoy the show, considering most, if not all, of the people in attendance waited around to meet the guys after...
