   So, I'm going to a bunch of shows on the Hanson tour with one of my close friends (we're both big Hanson fans), & while she knows OF the Sixers (because I love them, of course), she's not as familiar with them as I am, obviously Being the awesome girl she is, she asked me to recommend some songs to get her started before we go on tour. I told her she should just buy all the albums, ha ha.

   Seriously though, I'm having a LOT of trouble narrowing down everything I know & love about the Sixers! I made a couple lists for her... songs they're likely to play as an opener (Days, Start the Day Early, Glassjaw Boxer, etc) & then my personal favs.

   I also am giving her a crash course in basic Sixers history, including past & present band members, nicknames & their origins, charity work... & I want to send her a couple live shows so she's prepared for the awesomeness that is Sixers live... I'm thinking at least one from the Dirty Ol' Tour, maybe one from the Mi Casa es Su Casa tour with PMB...

   Anyone have any additional suggestions for songs, live shows, or info I should pass along before our journey begins??

   whenever I'm introducing a friend to SK6 I always do two mixes- concert staples, and then a bunch of gems that aren't as popular.
   sooo, some songs that she'll want to know the lyrics to are: Anthem, Thirteen, See You Later, See You Soon, Days, Start the Day Early.... you could probably go on forever. (4th of July, Milwaukee)
   and then add your personal faves (mine include, but are not limited to: Scorpio, As Good As It's Been, America Song, Guitar & Tambourine, Wagon Wheel, Way She Is....)

   dance lessons might also be a good idea (Big Easy).

   Speaking of lyrics....I tried to find the lyrics to Glassjaw Boxer and could not find them anywhere. I downloaded the album, so no liner notes and no lyrics! Can anyone help me out with lyrics?

   The songbook is probably your best option, because it has all of the lyrics for all of the albums. Check it out in the store section of the website. In the meantime, check out Maggie's site.
