    i'm always looking for new music, and i love my local boys, so i figured i'd share a few of my favs for others to enjoy.

    ryan james. a wonderful guy with amazing songwriting talent, who also has a sk6 connection...he used mike daly on his first record.

    bobby duncan. a random friend i met through mutual friends/love of ryan adams. you can hear the influence. he used walt wilkins as a producer on this last record, which equals amazingness as far as i'm concerned.

    dave bulloch. he disappeared off the face of the earth but has since reappeared which means you should listen to him.

    Steve Moakler Writes good lyrics. Mostly acoustic. Acoustic/Pop/Rock. Fills the void of not having anything new from SK. Moakler is fast becoming one of my favorites.

    so, they're not local to me, but i love this band. the guys in the band are some of the nicest guys ever. their sound is harder than sk6ers, but i enjoy them.

    I just went on Romanticas myspace page and listened to their tunes and definetly liked what I heard. Nice recommendation.

    These guys are sooo fantastic. If they're playing a show or festival near you, go see them. I've never ever seen anyone rock out to folk/bluegrass like what happens at their shows. I can't recommend them enough.

    And Sarah - isn't it the best making friends via a mutual love of Ryan Adams?!
