I have to say these guys are awesome! I saw them for the first time on Satuday night when they opened for George Thorogood in my hometown of Thunder Bay, Ontario CANADA. Honestly, they were my favorite part of the whole concert (sorry George, but you were still great). They were real down to earth guys who took the time to autograph the CD's I purchased (which I must say blew me away!)and they were so sweet! I was so excited today when I saw them at my work. I had the chance to speak with Kit & Brian (Stephen unfortunately wasn't there) and they totally made my day! So thanks so much for the great tunes guys and for putting a big smile on my face! I will be sure to tell all my friends about you! Best of luck in your future endeavors!

I really do hope they come and do a headlining tour here.

But in the end its just me and me and me and thats all

I agree!! I've been wanting a Canadian show for about 3 years! Now that they're finally coming...I can't go! :( I dont' really have any desire to see George Thorogood here in Halifax, and since I'm working Friday evening, I'd expect to miss the opening act. I'd love to see SK6ERs do a headlining show some day! Or even just to stop in to one of Hali's many bars for a night or two! :)

I agree, Christy! I'm in Halifax too and SO pumped for the show, but I really don't know that I'll be able to afford $42.50 for tickets to a show where I'd probably just hang around out back or something after the opening act. I wish they were just playing a bar or something. Maybe they'll sneak one in? Or at least come back soon for one.

I went to the Hamilton show just for them :) I hear ya, though. It's tough. I'd love to see them headline a concert here in Canada, but I'd be willing to drive to see them in the States, too.

Hey that's so cool! Are you from around Hamilton? I didn't know anyone else came to that show just for them! I wish it would have been longer but it was still great seeing them again (especially only 10 minutes from my house lol).

But in the end its just me and me and me and thats all

I'm from Niagara-area right now -- so basically local.

W007! Local fen are always good things.

Yeah apparently it was something to do with Toronto-area unions... and issues of a sort. I'm not entirely clear on it (beyond Stephen's "I'm a democrat, but not a union man, y'know." and me blinking because it always takes me a moment to reorient to the American political spectrum).

    But yes! Local fans!

Yay for local fans! How did you two hear about the Sixers? I saw them play in Buffalo in 2006 with PMB (who I was introduced to through Hanson) and then saw them again a bunch of times on the Hanson tour and now I'm hooked lol

But in the end its just me and me and me and thats all

:) Unsurprisingly in this tour-time, I saw them this year with Hanson -- once in Royal Oak, and then Rochester.

I would have loved to see them more but... my car isn't the most stellar thing ever so... uh. Yeah. But it was wicked awesome and lots of fun.

I'm in St. Catharines, and that Buffalo show in 06 with PMB was my Sixer intro also!

Eigh! We should get them into St. Catharines then :) Three people is enough for a show, right? I can bring tonnes of other people.

While I'm not actually from Canada, I have to add into the love. I'm from Buffalo, but a drive to St. Catherine's to see a show would be great! :)

I'll join you on the St. Catherine's/Hamilton petition!! I'll be heading back that way in the fall to go back to school...and chances are I'll be hanging around the area for a couple of summers. I have yet to actually meet one other person that's heard of them!

Christy, what school will you be going to? McMaster or Brock? My best friends go to Brock and I just graduated from Mac last year.

I can't wait for them to announce fall dates! I'm just hoping they hit up Toronto or Hamilton again. Maybe we won't even need to start a petition?? lol

Ive been a fan for ages now and have been dying to get to see them in person and since im pretty sure they wont be coming down to Australia any time soon this would be perfect! Please Sixers!!
