It shocks me that there is not an O.A.R. thread in this forum. As a huge O.A.R. fanatic, they are the reason I even know and have come to like the Sixers. Maybe it's for my love of the band, but I feel that a newer audience comes from them and I don't think that thats a bad thing at all. I know and talk to many other O.A.R. fans on their board and the Sixers are talked about quite a bit. Out of the 8 times I have seen O.A.R. in the last year and a half or so, at least 2 times I saw them with the Sixers and one time, SK made an appearance playing harmonica on Hey Girl. I mean, even Jerry from O.A.R. was on the Big Band Small Stages tour. It's deffintly clear and evident the impact that O.A.R.'s success has had on the Sixers. Not to mention, Marc was featured on Glassjaw Boxer on Big Easy.
I know most of you already know much of that, I just wanted to stress my thoughts and opinions on the impact O.A.R. has had on the Sixers.
** As a side note, the first time I saw the Sixers was when MikelParis opened for them in Providence last February, and yet again another memeber, well two if you include MikelParis was there. Benj the bass player was their as well. Just to show the support SK6ers are getting from them.
