I was looking at some of the sets for this tour and noticed some new songs. Are these covers or new SK6ers songs?

I see a few covers on the setlists, but no new songs. The only new song that I know of is "My Favorite Place", which Stephen played at his solo acoustic show in Valparaiso in July.

Ok I was wondering because these two are new to me: "Why Don't You Love Me" and "Friend of the Devil". I don't listen to the Greatful Dead. Is "Why Don't You Love Me" a Beyonce cover? Because if that's true then that's hilarious. Ah I love all the funny contemporary covers SK6ers do. Like in "Days".

As long as it's the same "why don't you love me" that they've covered before, it's a hank williams cover, not a beyonce cover. unless beyonce covered it, too... but that's doubtful.

    September Setlists

Archives, then scroll down a little bit to setlist archives.

By the way, Matt Hires sometimes covers "Why Don't You Love Me (Like You Used To Do)." It's a fantastic song, and it has been covered by a ton of people including Elvis Costello and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

On a side note, now that I've looked it up, I would love to hear Beyonce's "Why Don't You Love Me" covered.

With lines like, "Check my credentials," "I got beauty, I got class, I got style, and I got ass," and "I got beauty, I got heart. Keep my head in them books, I'm sharp," I think it could be a definite winner for a Sixers' tune.

so, personally, i'm pretty ready for them to record this new album. yay!

i'm kind of excited about the fact that it's stuff we haven't heard. i guess that could change, but the intrigue is kind of fun.
