   Anyone got his new CD? I really love it. I had the pleasure of seeing him while he was traveling with Gavin Degraw.

   i've known matt for quite some time now. while he's definitely not my favorite musician ever, he certainly is one of my favorite people. the new cd is no "somedays" (released 2001), but i do enjoy the new cd. i just wish he would've put more new material on it.

   I love Matt and am so happy for him for his major label debut, but totally agree with wanting more original material. It feels like forever since Everything In Between came out and I really wanted a whole album of new stuff. The new songs on it are great though, cant wait to hear them live!

   Oh Matty Wertz. I found the Sixers because of him...and so many other artists.

   Those who pre-ordered his new cd also got an Acoustic EP. I think I like it better than the actual album release. I'm sure Matt's itching to record more new stuff though and another album will come out faster than it took between this one and Everything in Between.

   I hope so. I also liked the EP better than the actual album. Especially Someone Like You- I love that one live. Can't wait to see him again in concert next week. Plus, I saw Dave Barnes last week and I had him sign my "tour bag". Well, I had a Wertz autograph on there. He looked at it, and was like, "Wertz!" and clutched his heart. It was so cute!

   Matt Wertz! I've been listening to Matt for about four years now, but I don't own any of his albums. I manage to get by with his myspace/website since i'm not a fan of simply downloading from iTunes and have never seen his CDs at stores. I think that because i've never had one of his albums i'm super stoked that the new CD has a lot of older songs on it (Marianne!). I'll probably end up ordering this one if I don't find it locally.

   Not to make this the Dave + Matt thread, but I saw Dave Barnes two nights ago and he was absolutely adorable and the nicest guy ever. I mentioned that I knew of Matt (since thats how I knew about Dave) and he was so excited.

   i do like the acoustic ep a lot. it's the only reason i pre-ordered the album. that, and i got two copies of the cd, a t-shirt, and the digital files for $25. it was a steal.

   (I think you just have to twitter about it or sign up for his mailing list).
