Here is my mini-review/rant. I have seen Stephen over 45 times now and I can appreciate all kinds of venues. I actually enjoyed the Linda Theater more than say, Revolution Hall in Troy. There was an obnoxious girl who ran up to the front row during "My Sweet Charade" and pretty much ordered everyone to stand up. And she did this while standing RIGHT NEXT to my microphones. So needless to say you can hear her clear as a bell on the track. The show came out amazing, but every time I listen to it I am going to have to hear her. My wife if seven months pregnant and uncomfortable as hell, we certainly didn't need someone butting in front of us and telling us to stand up. We got there early for a reason, to get front row seats. Anyway I think I have veered WAY WAY WAY off topic, I just needed to vent. I will have the show up on Saturday when I get a day off from work. Here is the set list...

    4th of July
    Maria
See You Later, See You Soon
    My Sweet Charade
    Such a Way
    Wagon Wheel
    Father's Day
    Start The Day Early
    Bound for New York
    Uninspired Gambling
Set You Free (Kyle Riabko on Vocals)
    Days
    Big Easy
    Lonely In Columbus (Electric)
(I've Had The) Time of My Life

I never want to be that dick taper who shooshs people and what not but if you see microphones can't you at least be quiet around them? It is not difficult to be a little polite. I am venting again I am gonna shut up... Sorry.

no worries about the rant....she was wrong to do that. thanks for the taping and the set list.

yay for bound for new york. i know i've said this in another thread, but it bears repeating, at least i think it does. lol. but what's the deal with not playing more new songs...it's not like they bad songs, they got good reviews. this set list is kinda boring. i guess that's my rant. ha!

lyrics (according to that recording...and i'm sure some of them are wrong!)

Last night I got lonely in Columbus
Called you for the third time in a day
You said you were feeling better
But I felt still so depressed
It doesn't change the fact that I'm 800 miles away
Doesn't change the fact that I'm away
    (messed up)

Parkin in a lot outside the city
Cost me 30 bucks just to be there
You'd think for all that money there would d be another car
But I looked around and there was no one there
    No one there
Streetlights and the moon looked so magnificantly bare

And I'm glad for a friend like you
    If you call me
You know I'm always gonna pick up

It's such a lame excuse to say I'm tired
Cuz everyone is tired more or less
If you wanna see a person come alive
Just take the time to ask the secret of their great success
To ask the secret of their great success

    Empty headed jealous indecision
People minded thoughtless point of view
And everyone's a loser till you isolate the kill
And you realize that they've isolated you
Yeah you, you realize that they've isolated you

I'm glad for a friend like you
    If you call me
You know i'm always gonna pick up

There's no point in seeking out your pity
Making way for tears is such a joke
Everyone has days when they feel shitty, oh yeah
Some days I wish I never even spoke
    Some days I wish I didn't have a tongue

I think I'd take a pill to help me sleep
But what I hear, the crime is out of hand
I'm not sure I'll feel better off in dreams, oh no
A sitting duck just waitng for the bad, bad man
How do they get away with all their bad, bad plans?
Why are the cops so focused on my speeding,
When somewhere there's a child who is bleeding?

A dog that eats a dog is still a beast
A beast does not deserve a second shot
If you can't protect, you'll end up just like me
Lonley in Columbus in a vacant parking lot
    So lonely in Columbus

Thanks for typing up the lyrics, Maggie.

I can't WAIT to hear Bound for New York!!

Claude - at the Madison show there was a random small microphone placed on the stage. I have no idea if it was for taping, but it was really really low to the stage floor and on the audience side of the monitors. Anyway, some guy standing next to Laura and I repeatedly yelled the names of various STDs into it, so I guess it could be worse? haha. Again..thanks for taping and congrats to you and your wife!!
