I always thought it would be fun if they did the Golden Girls theme song
I absolutely love when bands do covers but the sk6ers music is so good I'd almost rather them leave out the covers at shows

The Golden Girls theme song is SO Sixers. That'd be amazing.

It'd be a good song for them to walk out at the beginning of a show too!

Jack and Diane
or in my world Jack and Diana

Cheers theme for an open, Golden Girls for the close?
How about some Elton John? I'd love, love, love to hear them cover Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters. Crocodile Rock could be a fun cover too, even though it's not my favorite. They could turn that into a new musical chairs number.

Diana - They actually used to cover Jack and Diane.

Ok this is random but I thought of it as I was digging around for covers for Diana. Does anyone have the clip of them doing She'll Be Comin Round The Mountain? I used to have it but my hard drive crashed, and I lost anything that wasn't on my ipod...so I guess that wasn't.
Edit: Thanks Sarah!
Ok here is another one I'm missing that I used to have...I don't remember what songs it was but they get the audience singing in a round...I believe it included This Little Light of Mine...

if we're going with elton john covers, i'm going to go with my father's gun. mainly because it's my favorite. i don't know how well that would work, though.
i'd also like it quite a bit if they brought they ray lamontagne (jolene) cover back, and i think old before your time, off his new album, would fit quite nicely in one of their sets.

Sarah - My Father's Gun? Are you kidding! That is totally the Elton John song for them, I don't know how I forgot about that one. That's actually much more up their alley.

If it's an Elton John song....it's gotta be either Amoreena or Madman Across the Water. So great. Although yeah, My Father's Gun would be nice too. Really, anything from the 'Tumbleweed Connection' album.
