   Anyone make to the Hotel Cafe show or going to the next one this coming Thursday?

   I went and i am going to the next one, and I have to say I loved it. I've never seen SK solo, so it was extra cool for me. Kit was there too and played a few songs with Stephen, which was a nice surprise. I just moved to Cali (North San Diego) from Chicago so I haven't been the hotel cafe before. I've just heard about how cool it is. I have to say it was pretty cool place. It was super intimate which was good, but the down side is that you can hear every little noise while they're all playing.

   Overall, it was a great night, especially since its been a long time since I've seen him or the band live. SK sounded and played great. I def enjoyed the Always On My Mind cover. In addition to a new song "watch you grow" I got to hear a new story about Stephens little brother. I won't ruin it for anyone who hasn't heard it told live...its a good one lol...ok, i will say another facial injury is involved haha.

   I wish I had some good pics and good audio of the new song, but all i had was my blackberry and we weren't able to use flashes. If you want the audio of "watch you grow" let me know i'll send it to you...its sketchy at best though.

   i heard SK play it at Pat McGee's OBX thing last year.

   is Ry opening these hotel cafe shows? he's great!

   Awww I love those lyrics. I haven't heard Watch You Grow yet. I hope it's an SK solo tour staple...I'd love to hear it at the STL or CHI show.
