Last year, I got 4th of July. I'm thinking that this year, I'm going for In Front of the World for the baby's nursery. Not my favorite SK6 song, but I've gotta have some SK6 in my child's life from the get-go!

    Marissa that is so sweet.

I'm undecided on whether to order one for myself or a friend who just moved away.
    .... or both.

I just dropped some major hints to the husband. "Did you know that the first anniversary gift is, indeed, PAPER? Wouldn't it be amazing to have a personalized set of lyrics to us of the first song we danced to as a married couple??" So...we'll see how that goes... :)

i doubt my parents will pick up on my hint, so it might be necessary to get them for myself. if by some miracle i stop being poor in the next couple weeks...

marissa, i must have missed that you were pregnant. congratulations, lady! and that's such a cute idea.

Yeah, I'm still up in the air on the final decision, too. Maybe I should just solicit donations fundraiser-style from my entire hometown and get the whole catalog!

    I have no money
Aside from my own misfortune this is probably the coolest thing i've ever seen a band do to raise money for charity. I would love to have See You Later, See You Soon or Anthem.

Marissa, like everyone else I congratulate you and your baby is very lucky to have such an awesome parent.

I'm totally digging the idea of handwritten lyric wallpaper! Maybe I could project a line or two and paint it on a wall in our basement. Ohh the ideas!
I'm due the middle of February, and we know that it is a boy! We're thinking Ezra Jeston for his name. Ezra was my maternal grandmother's grandfather, and Jeston is my husband's paternal grandfather's middle name. Sound like a winner? We'll see if it sticks! Thanks for everyone's well-wishes!

    hey, made me laugh!! =)

at first I read "Jeston" as "Jetson" & I was like.. wow, that's a very futuristic name... it's very unique! I think it's a cool middle name.

Hahaha! That's the current joke around the table at family functions. I appreciate the BTE reference, I was waiting for the "that's Taylor Hanson's kid's name," reference and thankfully, we got the BTE one first!

Marissa! Like, Oh my God, did you know that's Taylor Hanson's kids name?!?!...... :)

Seriously...congrats girl. Your little boy is definitely going to have one cool Momma.

I have had the idea of putting SK lyrics on our wall forever (just a stencil...) but now that you bring up "projection"..... I really hope my husband got the hint.

I gather that you dislike Hanson, but that seems a little....uhh....judgmental and perhaps not very considerate of others' tastes.
