Hi everyone. We just lost our 18 year old dog, she was the absolute love of our lives and meant everything to us
We are in extreme pain right now and looking for something fun to do but known of the bands we like are on tour right now
I looked at the Sk6ers dates and saw that Stephen was going to be opening for someone in Glenside PA which is a 7 hour drive from us, has anyone seen him solo before? We are really hoping to make it to this show so his music can lift our spirits a bit. Please let us know what we can expect from a solo show. Thanks so much

I'm sorry about your dog, girls.
However, don't buy tickets for Glenside just yet. I already have tickets to this show, and I was talking about it in the lobby at a show last week. Cousin Jess overheard me and told me that Stephen is no longer doing this show, as he apparently was never confirmed. His name is still on the MySpace, website, and even The Keswick's website, so I'm not quite sure what's going on. I don't know exactly who has to confirm him, so I'm going to call the Keswick and see what they know.

Chrissy thank so much for the kind words and thank you so much for letting us know this even though it breaks my heart
please let us know what the venue says. You are a life saver though since I was JUST ready to buy tickets.
really bummed

My mom called the Keswick, and they still have Stephen listed as the opener, but they don't have the final say. They said that a couple days before the show, Rosanne's manager is supposed to contact the Keswick to confirm the show details, so it looks like we won't know anything for sure until then. =\
I figured they would have removed his name by now if they already know for sure that he's not doing it. Perhaps they're still going to try and get it confirmed? I wish I knew, cause these tickets were quite expensive... But I don't want to sell them and then find out that he is going to be there after all. Maybe I should e-mail Cousin Jess and ask if anything has changed since last week when she told me about this.

Thanks so much for the info Chrissy. I think we will just call this one off just incase, I wouldn't want to drive the whole way and have him not be there. I really hope he is there for you though! When you saw them this past week did they mention when a full tour might be? Thanks so much again for your help like I said your a life saver!

Well, Stephen did announce that they're going to be back in Philly on October 16th and 17th, and DC on December 26th, so the annual Fall and Winter tours are definitely happening! Goose said they'll be co-headlining (I believe with Carbon Leaf), and that they're planning some random shows in the summer. =)

Thank you so much for the info that makes me feel better.

Co-headlining with CARBON LEAF? Woah I just really excited
I've had too many "I wanted to see Carbon Leaf live, but failed" stories, but then again i've had a lot w/ the SK6ers too..
Can't wait and I hope since they are both together it doesn't double my bad luck, but instead the bad luck strikes itself out.

I've been excited about this co-headlining tour for the past month. Saving up my money for some awesome shows!

Hey has anyone heard if he is playing the show? Chrissy did you decide if you'll still be going? If so I will really be hoping he's there for your sake!

I'll probably give them a call tomorrow to confirm it's happening. I'm about 3 hours away in State College, and need to be back on Friday at 10 am, but I'm thinking the drive is worth it.
How do the shows usually go when he's solo? I've only seen him with the sixers. And from what I remember, the Keswick Theater is a sizeable place.
I don\'t want to play golf. When I hit a ball, I want someone else to go chase it. ~Rogers HornsbyPosted 8 months ago on July 8, 2009 LINK -
