its starting to get to the point where i have too many different forms of media to check up on other people, bands included, let alone update my OWN pages. i hate technology.

i feel as if the world gets to be more creepy on a daily basis. as in, technology has turned us into gigantic creepers. i don't REALLY need to know what the sixers are doing all the time, nor does anyone really need to know when i have to take a test that i didn't study for or whatever my problem is for the day. but now everyone knows. what everyone is doing. constantly. it's just creepy.

So, Twitter stopped sending me text updates for SK6... I'm only signed-up to get text updates from them and Hanson. Hanson's are coming through just fine. The Sixers, however, are not. They don't want me to know what they're doing.

i decided this morning that i am quitting twitter until i get an interesting life where i can actually update it with something new every day and people will be interested and enjoy reading what amazing things i'm doing.
i dont know how long this will take, but i made my final twitter until then this morning as well...

i think everyone i follow has made it their mission to one-up john mayer, and say something more interesting or more random. it doesn't work, and i secretly may dislike john mayer, dane cook, and anyone else who may to be to blame for the 30 random twitters i wake up to in the morning.

I put up with john mayer's tweets for about 3 days. He tries to be all heady and poignant, and I'm like, man it's fucking twitter. Stop trying to be significant for 140 characters and be normal.
I've also learned that if someone has tweeted about not having time to update twitter cause they're too busy, then their tweets are going to suck because they've missed the whole point of twitter. lol.

i decided tonight though that if theres a few shows in the northwest area again... i'm going. ive always wanted to go to seattle and portland anyway... and im due to go back to vancouver.
but hanson's also touring. so we'll see what happens. i think right now though, id rather see sk6ers. hanson can wait.

that's great!!! traveling for shows is always fun. hanson did say that they will be touring the US and Canada, so hopefully there's a date near you.

yeah, but most of the time canada means toronto, and thats it. minus the last tour where they had calgary, edmonton, and van. and the one before that with 4 ontario dates (lol).
i'm not bitter towards ontario or anything...

I sometimes remember to check for new twitters, but I refuse to sign up. I can't handle anymore online social interaction sites.... plus, my dad has a twitter, which is just weird, ha ha.
& likewise to the Toronto=Canada myth... for a lot of bands, West Coast=California.... not true!! Oregon & Washington aren't just for indie grunge bands!!!

i reallyyyyy hope theres some seattle/portland dates for either sk6 or hanson for these tours. i think i really want to go out there finally! i was going to last fall for hanson, but it didnt really work out with school/transportation, lol.
