Soo bummed going to miss it! Have to spend the holiday with the family. I have tons of pics and videos from the show last year. What a blast!

I know last year was so great! I can't wait to go there again. It's such a good venue!

I got my tickets last night for the two shows. You can go to the club passimm website to order them. I hope they change it up between the first and second shows.

i'm only going to the late show this year. just because it's so expensive...and i'll be at the tupelo show a few days later...1 out of 2 isn't bad i guess. i'm going with my brother & his gf (i'm pretty sure it'll be her first sixers show)
passim is always a great show and i love watching the waiters/waitresses make it through that crowd.
i'm hoping for some more holiday tunes this year.-elisePosted 3 years ago on December 16, 2008 LINK -

hah, i dunno. just something different.
-elisePosted 3 years ago on December 19, 2008 LINK -
I would love to hear a little Dominick the Donkey, or perhaps a falsetto version of Mariah's "All I Want For Christmas" would be fantastic...

I've got 1 extra ticket for both of tonight's shows. I have a table seat... first table in front of the stage. Doesn't get any closer than that. My friend had something come up last minute and can't go. e-mail me at lilfloydjr@aol.com if you're interested or know someone who needs a ticket. Thanks! Mike

dominick the donkey?
hah, i dunno. just something different.
my wish has been granted.
Boots the Italian Christmas Donkey made an appearance tonight.
oh and You've Changed, The America Song, a song from the new album (i think it's called See Yourself), Baby it's Cold Outside...
and can you believe that they played YOU WIN at the early show and I wasn't there! ARGH!

Awesome show, but Stephen mocked my brownie and his pick hit me when he threw it at the end. For the record, a brownie, ice cream, and the Sixers do go well together!
Highlights were definitely the Italian Christmas Donkey, America Song, 4th of July, and Milwaukee.

oh and I love how JCB was a topic of conversation....high five to whoever yelled that out.
-elisePosted 3 years ago on December 28, 2008 LINK -
That was me thanks to the conversation on here recently about it. Was definitely funny how he heard and went into a rant about it
Posted 3 years ago on December 29, 2008 LINK -
What did he have to say about "JCB"? I dig that cover.
--ChrissyPosted 3 years ago on December 29, 2008 LINK -
Just talked about the origination of the song and how his label wanted him to record it but it was pretty awkward for him because of all the English phrases and sayings in it that make no sense here. He guesses that's probably why it never worked for them.

hey lilfloydjr when are you gonna upload this show im dying to hear it again
Posted 3 years ago on January 8, 2009 LINK -
I still have to convert it. I'll try to get to it this week. It sounds pretty good from what I listened to.
It was nice to meet you at the show.

Club Passim, Show 1, first part.
https://www.yousendit.com/download/WnBUS3d0OW40b0NGa1E9PQ
second part...
https://www.yousendit.com/download/WnBUS3dqVEhreERIRGc9PQ
Both parts should fit onto one CD. If they don't, you can probably cut out some of the chatter on any of the songs to make it fit. I had to zip them into two files so they would be under the 100 MB limit on yousendit.com.
If anyone knows a good program to normalize/boost the volume of the tracks, please let me know. As you can tell, its a little quiet so I'd like to raise the volume if possible.
Thanks,
MikePosted 3 years ago on January 11, 2009 LINK -
sounds great man thanks...I just turned the volume up for each song on itunes under each songs settings
