    Trying to decide if I'm going or not...is the Cambridge Room at the HOB nice? Never been there!

    Steph, I am trying to decide if I'm going or not...I'm figuring out if I can get there or not! No idea if the room is nice, but I would guess so since it's an HOB.

    Where would you be coming from?

    I'd be coming from 30 min outside of State College. Are you driving there? I'm trying to figure out a way to get there...and if it means anything to you, I'll keep you company!!

    Cool...yeah, that's the first day of my Thanksgiving break, so I'm going from State College to Pittsburgh to [possibly] the show. Of course, seeing the Sixers is always worth it...but I'm cringing over the long drive to see a two-hour show! And I'm not familiar with the person they're playing with...Curtis Peoples? Know anything about him?

    Do you have an AIM screenname? It'll make this discussion easier, haha.

    Curtis is great! I have yet to see him live though. He's played with Keaton Simons (who opened for Hanson for a few shows).

    EDIT: This doesn't seem possible at this point. I have to get back by Friday morning.

    I'm sorry you can't go Manda :(
    We are trying to work out getting to the show. We saw them in Rochester on Saturday and told Stephen we may be going and he said since its right before the NYC CD taping the show should be a good one. He also said that its Sam's hometown show and that his parents will be there. It would be great to have a good turn out for Sam so if you can make it Steph you should for sure go and we are going to try really hard to get there as well!

    As for the venue we have been there but only inside the big room but its very clean inside and they have really cool artwork all around. I do remember walking past the Cambridge Room and it was pretty small and flat but like I said very clean and decorated nicely! You can actually take a visual tour on the website!

    I think that's probably a good bet. The HOB gave me permission to record the show, so with any luck you'll get to hear it over and over again.

    They played Guitar & Tambourine last year, so hopefully they will again! :)

    I'm from Pittsburgh and I am trying to go, but I have night classes on Thursday (which is the day of the show) but I don't know if that'll be enough to keep my from going. So hopefully everything will work out.

    hey AllisonFoley!!! what time are you leaving from Pittsburgh? Steph and I were wondering if we could maybe get a ride with you...we would be glad to help out with gas money and such.

    hey manda90! If I was positive about going or not i'd totally take you up on that offer, but unfortunately I still have no clue. It's not just my night classes i'm worried about it's also that I have important (attendance-wise) classes on Friday at 11am. Ugh it's such a major bummer. As of now nothing is set in stone, and to be honest it probably won't work out, but if it does i'll let you guys know for sure!

    it's been a while since I've been in the Cambridge room, but it's a nice place. the stage is pretty good size but low. the room isn't too big - you can see from pretty much anywhere. And there's a bar in the back =)

    the only weird thing is the hallway right by the stage that leads to the restaurant - a lot of people walk through there during the shows..

    Manda09, I tried posting this yesterday.. twice... but I couldn't so i'm sorry for the short notice!

    Unfortunately I won't be able to make it. I had to leave my night class early last week, and this week I have to miss a class I have MWF on Wednesday for extracurricular reasons.. ugh I am super bummed and so sorry. I went last year and it was so much fun. I also have friends in Cleveland so I REALLY wanted to go. I hope you guys find transportation and that you have a great time! Sorry it didn't work out...
