I cannot say enough about this band from Conneticut. The songs just pull you in and make you want to never stop listening to their album, Good and Reckless and True. I can't believe more people haven't heard about them yet. Anyone with me on this?

oh you know i'm with you on this! one of my favorite bands EVER.

i can't wait for them to play with the sixers next month. it means nights (ok, only two of them for me) consisting of pure, raw rock 'n roll. i can't freaking wait.

I live in Minneapolis and they aren't coming near here. I might be in route to Chicago on the 9th and it's going to be killing me that they will be in Indianapolis. So close...but so far away!

I wish...Ann Arbor is about 14 hours away. I think I'll survive though...I saw them in Minneapolis a few days ago and got to work their merchandise table. I'm just so happy that they are opening for the SK6ers!

I just saw them last night and they rocked! I really enjoyed them. It was my first time every hearing them and they really made an impression. They're an excellent live band.

FYI, they're coming out with a new acoustic CD before Christmas with some new songs on it. Tim said it would be on their website and possibly on iTunes as well.

Sometimes I call radio stations in the twin cities so I can hopefully hear them one day being played without me requesting them first. When it actually happens will be a good day.

Thanks Melissa! I'm going to grab that show right now. Shelly has been stuck in my head since the AR shows last week.

Tim plays a tool box (actually shakes it for percussion) on The Future Is Nothing New. It has a great, haunting sound. Check it out.

I've not heard Say What You Mean What You Say, but I think it's funny that the title is nearly identical to the new John Mayer song (called Say, but the chorus is "say what you mean to say.") Those boys from Connecticut think alike.

I forgot to note that "My Old Lady..." is possibly the most catchy song ever about cheating.

The Alternate Routes provided THE "The Rock Boat Moment" Well, Tim, anyway.

I was looking to see if there was a video of it, but alas one has not turned up. Anyway, on the last night of the boat they're singing "My Old Lady" and Tim keeps it going, walking down to the bar, onto the bar, grabs a bottle of whatever booze he can, takes a shot straight out of the bottle, all while keeping the "My Old Lady" chant going. Even after security was escorting him back to the stage, he was still screaming it. It was amazing. I really hope a video gets uploaded soon.

Love. The Brooklawn Sessions CD was good, but I'm seriously ready for some new stuff. Looking forward to their (first?) show on the Rock Club side of the Paradise in July.

So their newest release "The Watershed EP" was supposed to be up on ITunes yesterday,
but since it still isn't up they have made "Love Me For Nothing" available for free download on their myspace site!
It's pretty amazing and it's nice to have some new stuff from the guys rather than the re-release of older songs :)

the watershed e.p. is uber awesome. their show with the sixers at the zoo was a great way to spend a sunday afternoon, despite it being 10000 degrees outside.
