Great show last night! I only wish Serena Ryder would have played longer. The sound at the Rex is superb, and the staff just as good. I'll post my full recording in the next couple days, but for now here was the highlight for me:

I sound like a doofus but how do we get the whole recording as an mp3? The Such a Way recording is immaculate and want to listen to the whole show but am technologically behind the times. Thanks!

Stephen has a condition with the Live Music Archive that his recordings can be uploaded and shared there, but only in lossless (i.e., non-MP3) format. That's why they're only available as the lossless FLAC files, while many other artists have MP3 derivatives on the Archive along with the source FLAC files. You can download the FLAC files and easily convert them to MP3 yourself using any number of free programs. The best (IMO) is Trader's Little Helper. Download it from http://tlh.easytree.org/

Thanks. Glad you (and others) are enjoying it. But I really didn't do anything aside from saving a bunch of digital 0's and 1's to a flash memory card. The band and venue supplied the quality sound. And that will be my excuse the next time I pull a horrible recording -- blame the venue, I just saved the 0's and 1's!
