so this was my first time to club passim and i really enjoyed it. the place is so tiny and it looked like there was about 75 people or so.

i went to the 10 pm show.

the "big band small stage"(or is it small stage big band?) tour is hilarious. i really dont think i have ever laughed so much. they really couldnt move at all on this stage.

some guy said something to stephen and stephen said that he sounded like his mother and then went on to talk about john mayer and how he has done every girl in the victorias secret catalog. but used different words.

Jerry was funny and finished his bottle of jack daniels not far into the show. and continued to say how he screwed SK's mom.

Pat Mcgee tried to say something about porn but it didnt turn out so well. and stephen continuously made fun of him for forgetting lyrics and such.

and i have to say i feel bad for his cousin. but it was really funny.

kit looked pretty good for tearing his ACL. and he said he is doing pretty well.

i have no idea what the setlist was at all. so im not even gonna try.

and the show ended with a standing ovation.

my review was really long. and probably not that good. i have some pictures and two videos but im lazy and they will be here sometime in the future.

I'll take a jab at the set (for the 10 o'clock show). I'm pretty sure they played a 13 song set and then 3 in the encore. So it should look something along the lines of this:

    Start the Day Early
(can't think of what it's called)
    Sweet Sophia
    "I'm getting nothing for Christmas"
    4th of July
    Days
    Anthem of Our Discovery
    Now I'm Not So Lost
    Wagon Wheel
    Hearts in Pain
    Set You Free
    Uninspired Gambling
    Milwaukee

    -------
    Amazing Grace >
    Big Easy
See You Later, See You Soon

Now I know the opener and encores are in the right places for sure. They played all of those songs, it's just the exact places I can't really remember. But it's pretty close.

    Any tapers there?

I stood outside and listened to some of the 7pm show, and heard Wagon Wheel and Big Easy. I thought it was going to be a lot more different things, but it sounds like a pretty standard setlist.

I went to both shows and some how ended up at the same table for both shows.
and then i took a drive to fairfield the next night.
the shows were amazing and certainally some of my favorites of 07.
i loved the incorporation of the sax into start the day early (not just saying that because it is my favorite instrument either) just added something extra.
4th street moon @ passim early show and anthem @ the late show both brought me to tears, as well as sweet sophia in ct.
Nothing for Christmas was quite an experience as well as Baby it's cold outside.
TrevorJackson is going to be the next big thing... i mean how could it not be

here are some videos from both shows.

It's a Nikon D40x. Unfortunately very few of my pictures turned out because I had to use a manual focus lens and that didn't work out so well, haha.
