I just finished selling merch last week and it was a blast. You get to enjoy the show in an entirely different way. Plus, you get the excitement of meeting people who are learning about the band for the first time and giving them suggestions for Cd's and shirts. But I would say that you need to have a mix of merch and front row experience. We were only going to do merch and then we ended up adding 2 shows so that we could get the full experience this week and it made us appreciate it even more. You realize how amazing Jessica is at her job. I'm seeing them three times in October, it's the last show, so we'll have seen them twice already and we'd be able to hear the show, but we don't want to work it, if it isn't really worth it .
