Sure back in '97 and '98, I had a plethora of Hanson merchandise and sang every word of Middle of Nowhere (not to mention my life-sized cardboard cutout that I coerced Sam Goody to hand over), and during my college days, I enjoyed Underneath; but I don't consider myself a fan. </p> <p>However, I have to hand it to Hanson for their tenacity in sticking around in an industry that has all but left them behind. The same thing can be said for SK and the Sixers, who have shown so much persistence over the years in trying to reach their own level of success (and achieving it). </p> <p>If you don't want to go to the shows with Hanson (or anyone else for that matter) because of the fans (or any other reason), don't go. Sure, you'll miss out on the Sixers, but that way you won't have to deal with the hoopla that appears to be a typical Hanson show. </p> <p>I'm just saying that the tour hasn't even started yet, and so many are against it already. If someone said, "There's this great concert you should go see. It's this guy and a band and their music is great. The lead singer sometimes plays a kazoo and the keyboard player also plays bass and then the does this dance," I'm not sure how we'd all react, and the same goes for these Hanson/Kate Voegele/Sixers shows. </p> <p>So just give this tour a try.
