You see, we had to go through the last 6 1/2 years, comb our entire tour schedule and count how many shows we played as a band. There were a few shows where Kit wasn’t present due to dance class, a couple here and there where Stephen decided to take the night off, which was usually due in part to courting Sam Steamer Getz to join the band. Interestingly enough, Boots has never missed a show in his 6 1/2 year tenure as a Sixer. People close to the band have started to refer to him as the Cal Ripken of SK6ERS...</p> <p>Anyway, there have been many memorable (and not so memorable... echemm) shows leading up to this momentous night, but of course one amazing concert to one could’ve have been a dud to another. That’s why we want to hear from you. Tell us about your favorite shows and memories. Tell us what you’d like to hear in the shows leading up to and on April 3rd. It grew on me like no other album has ever done. It is not quite done growing yet so I'm enjoying the ride. A couple of these songs give me chills because I can relate to the lyrics:<br /> -Dying Wish of a Teenager<br /> -Do<br /> -See Yourself</p> <p>This is also the most honest album I have ever heard. They really do take a "no frills" approach to life and they take to the studio as well. "The Bear" really does contain some real honest life-lessons. Stephen really does have a great way of making songs that, in the wrong hands, would be corny and sappy, and turning them into heartfelt love songs. "Oh Adeline" is a great example. The Sixers called this their "definitive album" and I believe them. It feels like they are pouring their whole lives out there on record.
